Get to know the well-rounded visual artist Krumppy Cho as he briefs us about his interaction with the Close to Your Heart campaign that produced the Tribute X AleXa collection.
How was working with Tribute as a Creative?
Krump py detailed his experience of working as a creative with Tribute explaining how it was his first time working with Tribute, but even from the first meeting he could tell that Tribute had meticulous planning and direction for the project, which is what motivated him to start the project. He added that he “had a great time working with Tribute”.
From the first meeting, during the discussion of the concepts, Krumppy could already picture the main aspects of what the shoot was going to be like. But because he is the type of person who fits in all the nitty-gritty details when he’s on set, Krumppy used that exact technique with this campaign. He explained how being on the scene is like finding the final piece of the puzzle to perfect his vision. And so, once he saw Alexa’s outfit for the shoot, it gave him the exact vision on how he was to finish the project.
Tribute X AleXa
Through the Close to Your Heart campaign, Krumppy found that working with AleXa was both easy and fun because she has a very distinct personality that also meshed well with his directing. Speaking of directing, he also let us know that his go-to work equipment was the Sony FX3 — a device known to be a compact camera that many filmmakers rave about.
